Account information: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and a securely hashed password.

Order information: items purchased, order totals, the currency and payment method you chose, and your delivery address, which may include an optional map location (latitude/longitude) and a landmark description to help the driver find you.

Preferences: your chosen display language (English, Somali, or Arabic).

2. How We Use It

To create and secure your account, including sending a one-time verification code to your email when you register or reset your password.

To process and fulfill your orders, including sharing the necessary order and delivery details with the Vendor shop and the driver assigned to deliver it.

To send you order-related notifications, such as status updates.

3. Who We Share It With

The Vendor shop fulfilling your order, so far as needed to prepare and ship it.

The driver delivering your order, so far as needed to complete delivery (name, phone, delivery address, and the delivery confirmation code).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Payment Information

HTM does not store your card or mobile-money credentials. Cash on Delivery orders involve no card data at all; where card or mobile-money payment is enabled, it is processed by the relevant payment provider directly.

5. Your Rights

You can review and update your name, locale, and saved addresses from your account settings at any time. To request a copy of your data or ask that your account be deleted, contact us using the details on our About page.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account and order history for as long as your account is active, and as needed afterward to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

7. Children's Privacy

HTM is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
